Monument
to the Laborers, 1981 four meters high, bronze. Commissioned by the
City of Torreon, Coahuila. |
Cristo de las Noas, 1982, 20 meters high, concrete. Commissioned by the
church. Known as Cristo del Cerro (Christ of the Hill). This monumental structure is today a strong spiritual symbol for the city of Torreon, Coahuila. The monument stands at a 1,300 meters above the sea level and over 220 meters above the city. It is the second tallest Christ monument in Latin America.
